Simple to integrate and supporting fast treatment speeds, Henniker’s Cirrus plasma system is a drop-in addition for automated production cells featuring collaborative robots (Cobots).

Working with one of our European clients, PSC Automation, the Cirrus atmospheric plasma system was integrated with a Universal Robots Cobot to deliver fast and effective surface treatment in the manufacture of kitchen appliances.

Plasma treatment is used in this example to increase the surface energy of the adhesive sealing surface of various control panel components, ensuring long term adhesion and reliability.
